Friend did the same thing, promise was an apartment on the Gold Coast, when time came to have the holiday, it was fully booked, couldnt get in, not free, offer no longer available....in other words, every excuse under the sun. Friend kept pushing, drove them mad, eventually he got the holiday but not at the place he was promised and fewer nights.
Unsure if this is the norm.
