We decided to do the upgrade thing but until we have been I really wont stop wondering about the decision. The rooms sounded a little nicer but my husband thought the club would be a good place to hang out away from the heat between shopping and excursions.
Hopefully we will get value for the money with the cocktails and afternoon tea etc and it will mean there's someplace to relax other than our rooms when the heat is too much.
Our plan at the moment is to have breakfast and go out (or laze by the pool), be back at the club for afternoon tea and cocktails...then go out for dinner, skipping lunch and having a bit of a rest and refuel before a late dinner.
