Stayed there last August for a few days. We found it very comfortable for a budget hotel. About ten/fifteen minutes walk from the beach near La Lucciola Restaurant. Still vegie fields and cows etc in that area, but only a short cheap taxi ride to Legian and Kuta.

Three classes of accomodation, standard room, standard villa and superior villa. The std villa is worth the little extra over the std room. The superior villa is similar to std, but has a small kitchenette [but who wants to cook?]

Our std villa was first floor with long views. Large room with large, comfortable bed. Aircon, TV, empty fridge for our drinks and goodies, large en-suite with H&C, small private balcony for sitting out. Pool with adjacent bar. Adequate cooked breakfast in nice open restaurant.

No noise at night, but a bit of noise from the water tower if you are next to it. Probably not enough to bother anyone.

Plenty of eating places, ranging from very cheap to quite expensive, either walking distance or short taxi ride. We particularly liked Warung Sobat in the next street [short taxi ride]. Cheap, good food and nice friendly atmosphere.

Good honest money changer in front office of Bali Mystique, on the walk to the beach. It's a hotel office, but they have street rates.

Type "Bali Ayu Seminyak" and "Warung Sobat" into Google for websites.
