Bulk of the planes seem to come in around 9:00ish and then another wave around 4:30ish. Noise was not an issue, I had the same concerns when first booking. We were not walking distance to everything, just a short $2 taxi ride. The benefit here is you are away from the road noises and fumes and feel as if you are hidden away in your own paradise.
