We really liked the Patra even though its a bit further along the beach its got a huge pool and huge kids club. Its not as noisy as the Dynasty with all the wghistles for happy hour so you can actually read your book etc in peace if thats what your after. The rooms youve booked are mostly towards back of property so ask foer one close to pool. Meals at The Patra are more expensive cause of taxes etc Restaurants in close walking distance would be in the bali hai Chinese at the Dynasty or Gracie kellys at the Dynasty can take kids till 9pm. Ma Joly on the beach great location for something nice a bit more expen. Otherwise better to pay the $3 down to Kuta in a cab. DEFINATELY suggest you have a driver while your there not sure when youre going but if after sept excellent driver Made Mangku look up in a search for recommendations. Hes very trustworthy and reliable and will be very busy in 3 weeks when hell have 12 females to entertain for a week. Suggest a dinner at Jimbaran Bay either at Sharkeys or GaneshaGet picked up about 4.45 so you can be there for the sunset with your drinks in hand very casual with great atmosphere.
