If you still can't get into the Dynasty why not try Bali Garden Hotel which is just up the road. Just got back from there last night and would recommend it. If you do try however request a deluxe room facing the garden as the other faces the street and is noisy.
Was talking to another person staying at the hotel and he had stayed at the Dynasty and although Bali Garden is rated budget (but yet to work out why) he said it was every bit as good as the Dynasty.
