I found some beautiful batik in Ubud (forgot the name of the shop). It's on Jl Hanoman and has a storefront (door, etc.) and a fabulous array of batik. My favorite was the selection of batik from North Java and Sumatra. The price range was 120,000 for simple designs to 350,000 for the more complex designs. I kept a keen eye out everywhere I went for batik and this store by far was the winner. Hope it helps.
