Hi there...Optik Melawai is in the Discovery Mall. If you go into the entrance at the top of the big steps, if you go in past Bread Talk then it is in the line of shops on the right hand side as you look into the mall. The glasses cost a total of 1 million, eight hundred and 97 thousand rupiah. The frames are Iceberg brand. The lenses are on the thick side, but cunningly set in the frames so that just looking at my husband wearing them you would not know they are prescription sunglasses. It is only if you take them off and look down at them from the top that you can see the thickness of the glass. I gather the cost has two components - the value of the frames you choose, and what sort of prescription you need. His eyesight is such that we could not get him the glasses that darken as you enter a room from outside as the lenses owing to the thickness of the lenses he would have needed.
