The hotel only allocates some many rooms to each wholesaler, being full from one agent doesn't mean the Hotel is full.
With Ticket prices so cheap in Oct ( well we found from Syd Aust Airlines $920 return) you can ring hotel direct or email they have rooms free. We are heading there 12th Oct 23rd Oct and found all types avaiable and prices cheaper than agents here in Syd.

let him know that you spoke to Greg from Sydney and you need help, he will fix it for you. He is the Front Of house Manager and a good rate is promised if you let him know i sent you.
All it means is youhave to pay for your airfares now and one nights accomadation as a booking fee. More time to save a bit more.
