Hello readers, when last I left you, "sexy man" and I were walking back to my hotel room. I have spent many days pondering about how to sum up the rest of my story, as, contrary to popular belief, I do have some pride and dignity you know.
Let's just say that thank god there were no chairs in my hotel room, so we had to lie on the bed (oh how terrible).I turned on a music DVD with all slow, romantic songs on it, and we laid on the bed looking into each others eyes for a while. "Sexy man" really loves my blonde hair, and started to stroke it softly. It was really nice to be around such a gentle man for a change.(I know, I know, I have probably been with the wrong men in the past, but at least I know what I am looking for now. It's a shame it has taken me so much wasted time and relationships to realise it though. Oh well, better late than never.)
He then started singing quietly to me, while still stroking my hair, and told me to close my eyes. Of course I needed no coaxing, so I did so, and "sexy man" proceded to plant little kisses all over my face and neck.
Now, I am very sorry, but this is as much information as I feel I can give you all.You will need to use your imagination to end the story yourselves, but ,may I say, don't always imagine the obvious, as it might not be correct, but, it also maybe.
What I will say is this........ I can really understand how women fall for the balinese men, as they are so gentle and kind. (I don't mean to generalise, but this is what I had noticed). After being single and "unloved" for quite some time, it is extremely refreshing to have someone pay you so much attention, and especially while being soooooo gentle and loving.
However, "sexy man" and I did have a long talk, and I told him we needed to be sensible, and being that he is younger than me, a totally different kind of person, and lives in another country, I was not going to let my heart be broken "yet again" by allowing myself to think that this was anything more than a wonderful holiday experience. I know there are many Australian people who have successfully married Balinese people, and they are very happy, but this is not going to happen in my case."Sexy man" and I need to be realistic and enjoy the time we have together, and hope that we get the chance to be together a few times a year, but also know that we have very different lives to lead. Now please don't get me wrong ladies, this by no way means that "sexy man" is up for grabs, as we certainly have a very special bond, it just means that I am protecting myself and my fragile heart.
WHAT HAS THIS JBR GOT TO DO WITH BALI???????
Plenty, it is an example of how a trip to this beautiful country can be life altering. It shows how your self confidence and outlook on people (especially of the male species) can be totally changed. It shows how time spent in Bali can help you focus on your needs and goals in life, and how time over there, away from the disruptions of your normal life, can be perfect for "soul searching" and thinking.I know that there are negative aspects about Bali, as there is with every country, but if you take the time to really get to know the people, they really are very kind, gentle and loving (and I'm not just talking about "sexy man").
Thankyou to everyone who has been reading my JBRs and following my story, I can't believe you find my story so interesting. Thankyou to the Forum Administrator for your patience in allowing my JBRs to stay undeleted, and lastly, my apologies to anyone that is not interested in this kind of dribble, I hope no one was holding a gun to your head and making you read this.
