The Kodak shop money changer on the beach rd, at the top end of Seminyak (close to Double 6 club) is run by a slezzy looking guy who does try to short change you.......Not like all the other Kodak shops!!!!!
I was changing AUD$100.00 AT THE RATE OF 7,350.00
He counts out all 20,000 notes and then whants you to recount them and stack them near him, at which i stacked the notes over near me!
Then he said O.k. and instead of handing over 35,000 he put down 3,500.
When i brought this to his attention, he said, or yeah. He then handed ME 2 X 20,000 and said. You give me 10,000. I was so intent on him not getting the bundle of notes i had stacked, that i gave him 10,000 and walked out.
It was only then that i realised he still gort me for 5,000
I had a little laugth to myself but couldn,t be bothered going back for 5,000 Rp.
So not all KODAK shops are honest.
