I was in Bali 29th July to 9th August 05. We stayed at the Bakungsari Hotel Kuta and We had a balcony but it had a open walkway. My suitcase was big enough to put there to stop my 9 month old from escaping. Great idea!! The Time Zone has closed down near McDonalds.
We did not go see the Monkeys but another family in the motel did and there kid got bit my a monkey. The pool water was freezing and my 9 month old only had 1 swim while we was there. I recommend Glory Restaurant at 445 Legian Road, Legian PH: 751091 They will pick you up and drive you home - free of charge. They will mind your kids too while you eat your dinner. We didn't have to paid for that but we gave the lady 20,000RP. They have high chairs. The fisherman's basket 60,000RP is great and to big for me to get through. They have European, Indonesia, Balinese and Chinese dishes. It is open 8am to midnight. We took a bag of toys with us and gave them away to kids on the streets on our last day. The kids loved them. My kids had no special needles before going.
