the 12th Oct for our 4th visit and although it is sad that that is the anniversary of the Bali Bombing and we will say a prayer for the people and their families whose lives changed that day, we could just as easy have the same thing happen in Adelaide. We also went to USA prior to Sept 11 and then again after Sept 11. In fact the last time we were in Kuta, there was a wonderful amount of security in front of all the hotels and on the streets. Far more than you see in Australia. We felt very safe and never once worried that something might happen to us. If we stop living and having fun, something that Aussies are known for, then the terrorists have won.
I hope you have a wonderful first visit to Bali and enjoy the lovely Balinese people and spend up big to help their economy!!!!
