It all depends on your budget. The Tanjung area has been doing really well this year. There are some nice places to stay there. The Aston is always lovely, the Novotel, Conrads is just gorgeous, but there is a lovely villa there called Rumah Bali. Do a web search either on here or google to find it. Nusa has been a bit quiet but some of the hotels took time (just after the bombing) to do some renovations. I'm not sure how Bualu village itself is faring, I know that the Galleria isn't doing well at all with most of the shops shut.

Seminyak is nice also, again depending on budget, there's the Oberio and my favourite is The Legian, to me nothing goes past that, you can get some much better prices than what you can get from your local travel agent too. The Padma is still good, there are many to choose from, again, it all depends on how much you want to spend.

hope this helps.
