the limit is still 1 carton or 250g of tobacco. my mate also from adelaide brought back 2 cartons of indo cigarettes, declared them and was charged $120 AUD. He bought them from the supermarket in bali. sorry maybe I am confused with your question.
I did the same, and they said they could charge me but let me off.
Cigarretes / tobacco is very cheap in bali a pack of cigarettes costs about 8,000rp, a carton around 80,000 from the shops depending on the brand. Dont know prices for tobacco.
