about an agent that would pull someone like Mida down. Have they ever met her? In them asking you that question, maybe they thought that they could say anything about her and that you wouldn't know any different.
I would let them know that you write on a travel forum and have heard many good reports about Mida and since she has come up with a better price, unless they are willing to meet it, then you will go with Mida. Aussie agents tend to think that they can get away with out giving us great deals. I booked through Mida and she has saved me over $600 compared with Aussie agents!! As soon as I organised it with her, (I had already been emailing the hotel to get a good price, which was $800 more than Mida's) They emailed me and said that an agent was booking a room for me and could I confirm that it was me!! And I don't have to give her the money until I get there. If, in the worst case scenario, it falls through, what have I lost? maybe a day to find somewhere else. There are so many places in Bali to stay, I would find somewhere easy. You can't loose, I think.
