Better to upgrade to deluxe if noise will bother you as they have a better position/outlook in the hotel.
The rooms in general are probably much of a muchness.
There are some superior rooms at the side of the hotel but some have said the noise can still be heard from here (while others have not)so luck of the draw..
Upgrades can be done with agent before you go, via email direct with hotel or take your chances when you arrive.
Same price generally no which way you do it.
Advice on room numbers has been posted quite a few times before so perhaps a search of the archives may help.
I stayed in 178..ground floor and was happy with both the fact it was ground floor & on a side of the hotel I preferred.
