Arrived home to miserable weather on Sunday after 2 great weeks on paradise island.(4th visit in 4 years. Stayed a week at Bounty Hotel (reasonable superior room with a few maintenance issues but great central spot) second week at Dynasty (after all the school kids had gone home)for a slower pace b4 returning home. Ate at Uncle Norms, Kori's, Adhi Darma, Indo National (great whole fish) Papa's, Green Garden, Pantai twice- great fish but very slow service, Gracey Kellys (in Dynasty) all good. Also Bubba Gumps but not impressed.
Trips to Lembongan Island (Bounty cruises) enjoyed it. Sanur, gold shops at Denpasar (an experience) Elephant safari at Taro (enjoyable). Wife wasn't sick (for the first time in 4 visits), as a result had to buy 2 extra bags for the bloody shopping. Adelaide customs slow as usual- why do the have to program 3 international flights arrive within 1 hour/ Absolute bedlam. Been cold & pouring rain since we got back.....
