I read on here a few week's ago about someone waiting for their passport, I would have been very very worried!!. Yes we told them we intend to take care of their honeymoon, they are rapt!! love em to pieces. The passport is all underway, so should be o.k. Read a footnote about my experience at the end of this post !!
We were actually thinking Ubud would be fabulous for a few day's. We went there for a day and thought how lovely it was, and perfect for a honeymoon. Cinnamonbell told me she went there, so come on gal - information.
Now, I travel on a British passport (been in Oz for 26yrs) got Aus. children, one a R.N. /C.N and one in the Navy. Keep saying we MUST become citizen's. WELL in Denpasar airport 11.30pm only to be told I didn't have a re-entry Vias into Australia - Expired in Feb 05.
Very long story short, Bali official's contacted Australia and I had to purchase re-entry Visa within 30day's (done it in two) NOW we will become Australian Citizen's (interview 19th Aug)
The moral of the story is - check all the little bit's and bob's well in advance.
