near Matahari. I have worn contact lenses for 23 years and I have a 3.25 correction in my left eye but a 3.00 astigmatysm in my right eye. I went to the Optik Seis near Matahari's last sept and took my prescription. They could not help me with the right eye lenses as they do not carry lenses with astigmatysm correction but I got a 12 month supply of the left eye for A$40.00 which was about a quarter the price of my prescription in Adelaide. There were slightly thinner than my usual prescription so they tended to tear a bit easier but I still managed to get 9 months out of the 12 months prescription. (They only lasted, on average, about 2 to 3 weeks instead of a month each). It was still excellent value and they were just as comfortable as my normal ones. I would buy them again this time when we go because any saving is a good one. We also got some glasses which they took the prescription of the glasses themselves. They were about a third the price. If you get your receipt you can claim them on your health fund at home too. They were very helpful and it took 1 day to get them ready for us.
Have a great trip.
Maria
