Hi,

I stayed at the Patra with my boyfriend in April/May. It certainly is beautiful. You will love it. It's definitely one of the hotels that everybody should experience staying at at least once.

As for the pricing, I suppose it is a bit pricey but nothing outrageously expensive.

Definitely don't go to their spa. It's US$90 for treatments! You can go up along the beach and walk through the Bali Hai out towards the front and there are heaps of different massage/spa places that are very cheap! That's what we did.

Be careful if you drink in The Cellar Pub at the Patra. We certainly paid extravagent prices there for drinks! That was the only time we got annoyed with prices. I think it cost us about $8 for a Corona. I wouldn't even pay that in Perth!

Everything else though is reasonable (I thought). You'd be paying the same prices at Dynasty, Bali Hai, Kartika etc. I found the pricing to be more reasonable than other hotels we've stayed at.

Apparently the Japanese restaurant is very expensive but we never ate there. We made the most of Bali and ate out every night. Their breakfast also tends to fill you up a fair bit so you don't necessarily want to eat lunch!

So, in summary, I thought the prices were okay. Nothing to stress about.

I hope you have a great time!

Ali
