I've seen 600ml bottles selling for 20,000rp. I don't know what the quality was like.
The more common varieties are around 60-80,000 for a 750ml bottle.
You can also get locally made gin, vodka and scotch at around the same price if you don't like arak. It's all drinkable, but far from top-shelf stuff.
Drink heaps of water before you pass out. You're probably going to be more dehydrated than usual coz of the weather, and that can make hangovers worse.
And be careful when you drink mixed arak drinks in clubs, coz it has a kick to it that can come upon you suddenly, and it's hard to tell how strong each drink is. If the bartender likes you, he may reward you by putting in extra arak. Try to watch each drink being made so you can keep track. (A good theory hard to put into practice.)
