Hi

My Parents are going to Bali next month, it will be mums 5th and dads 2nd trip. Mum has never really been up to seminyak much, i have told her she should go for a walk in seminyak and check out all the new restaurants up there..thing is i dont know exactly where to tell her to get a taxi to! i was there in may and decided to do the same i got a taxi to the kumala pantai and thought id go for a walk but could not find this "eat st" jalan laksmana that people talk about!
does anyone have a suggestion of a landmark i should tell them to get a taxi to? and then they can walk along the street?
i want them to have a good time!! as dad hated it last yr but has decided he wants to give it another go!! he loved the hotel (dynasty) but didnt really like walking the streets of kuta

also they want to do a day trip but arent really interested in barong dancing/silver shops, i thought it would be nice for them to see some scenerary and then have lunch somewhere overlooking the rice fields, anyone have a suggestion on an itineray/restaurant?
is sanur worth checking out? is there a landmark in sanur you should get a taxi to then walk around?

sorry for all the questions, i worry about them going on their own! ive been 12 times so you would think id know my way around and i do!! just not really ventured up to seminyak much!!

thanks for any advice, greatly appreciated

Lindsey
