Though probably not intended you post would make me think, if I didn't know better, that vaccinations are completely unneccessary.
The people who I know who contracted Typhoid last year were in Kuta and Legian and weren't playing in the gutters, so please think twice before making sweeping statements. My intention is not to have a go at you, so please do not take it that way.
Contracting Hepatitis, Typhoid, or a number of other diseases which have been mentioned on this thread can make you ill for a very long time and be life threatening.
If you have made 10 trips and never been sick thats great, I applaud you luck, just please make sure your friend has made an informed choice and not made a decision based on your bravado.
