My final word on this. Get over there and see for yourself. My impression of Kuta is that the locals actually want you to have a good time and there are none of the restrictive rules that are inflicted on Australians here over there. Putting it simply, they don't give a s... They want to make a buck, they've seen it all before, the place is geared towards fun and drinking yourself silly, There is vice and corruption everywhere. They are just as bad as us for encouraging us as we are for doing it. Kuta is to Australia what Ibiza is to the Poms. That's why we go there. Outside Kuta I wouldn't advocate this sort of behaviour as it has a different, more laid back feel to it and it wouldn't be appreciated. There are also older people and more kid's in the towns outside Kuta. When I went there, there were organised wet tee shirt competitions etc. I fail to see the difference except that streaking is probably less degrading. You are 19 so appreciate your youth and whatever you do don't grow up until you have to. I guarantee that at 3am Cliff will be in bed and won't even know you've done it. As I said, size it up when you get there. Bali is great and there is something there for everyone. Old fogeys and young party goers alike.
PS you might want to hide a 100 grand note in one of your orifices as a bribe if you get caught but you'll get to know where the cops hang out and you'd be lucky if they'd even look. They know not to upset us too much because that's how they get to eat.
Be generous, tip the locals, give the kids money (they love it) and enjoy yourself. That way you'll go back again and again and everyone wins. It's got me stuffed why Cliff goes at all....
