I have obviously upset a lot of people which I was a bit worried about, but I did not mean to at all. Like I said, I'm sure this lady does not have HIV, but we know nothing about her, for example, if she has had unprotected sex overseas, is a drug user or anything that could place her at risk. Each person with HIV has different symptoms, and part of nurses role is health promotion and awareness.
Like I said in my previous post, it could mean many things, very unlikely HIV, but health is important and people must keep in mind all possibilities.
