sorry its taken a while just could not get out of holiday mode.

Day before we left on July 8th my family (husband,3 kids 15, 10, 9 and myself) and friends (2 adults,3 kids, 15, 12 and 10) head off about 5pm to stay in hotel close to airport. The idea for this was to have a decent sleep before leaving, didnt work too excited sit in the bar too long then go back to rooms, few more night caps then lie awake most of night waiting for the alarm.
JULY 9th
Finally alarm goes off no problem getting up, get to airport 1hour to early and have to wait for check in counter to open. Only took hand luggage so easy. Air paradise leaves on time, good flight, service and food, tried to watch movie but to excited and had to answer the kids question every 10 minutes of HOW LONG TO GO.
Arrive 0n time about 40 mins to get through voa, paid in aussie dollars, no waiting for luggage so very quick out and to our pre arranged transport. We put our friends 15 year old boy in front seat(first overseas holiday) very funny watching his reaction to road rules and counting how many people on one bike. I think the best question he had was why do you toot the horn so much, and the answer back from driver was i dont really know.
Checked in to Rama Beach Cottages in Tuban, quick check-in, nice welcome drink and friendly staff. Only complaint that i had was we had requested downstairs rooms and we were put upstairs. The rooms were the same upstairs (stayed here 3 other times) so stayed there but would insist down next time because i have a bung knee.
After a quick swim and unpack off we head for our fav restaurant the Pantaii on the beach right next door to Ma Jolly minus the prices. Great first day with friends and in paradise.
JULY 10th
Wake up early still too excited to relaxe, down for breakfast that was included, friends (last time in Bali 16 years ago) got very excited about the buffett and choice of food you would have thought it was their last meal, never seen so many omellettes made for one family before. Off to the market straight away to get all the girls hair done, 45,000 each then for a walk up to the new shopping complex on Kartika Plaza, not really my cup of tea i thought it lacked atmosphere and i could of been in any shopping centre in melb. Anyway worth a look i just would'nt go back. Back to hotel for a swim and of course Bintang, and relax in sun and water for a while.
Went to the Green Garden in Tuban for tea tonight, not very busy but service was a bit slow, very nice staff though and good food when it arrived, both familys got a free t-shirt because of the wait. Finally must be relaxing because feeling very sleepy tonight or is it the grog!!
JULY 11th
Off to waterbom today, got the tickets at hotel on the way out, had not done this before but could highly recommend it, got 20% off and walked straight in without any lines. It was Indonesian School holidays and oh my god how busy was it, could not even see the lazy river for all the tubes, lunch lines were shocking, not to dear though and the lines at the slides were long, only good thing about that was recovery time at the end of all the stairs. Kids had a ball but we decided to leave about 3 and buy the second day pass when school holidays were over. Went to the S.A. Cafe for dinner as usual great food and Mr Wayan as lovely as ever. Kids must have been tire as all 6 of them fell asleep in one room watching a DVD, OHH there so cute when there asleep. Time for a couple of drinks then hit the sack.

more to follow....
