Being an Australian Wine Fan, and paying the very cheap prices we pay in Australia for quality wine, it is hard to cough up the extra for Australian wine in Bali. Consequently on all previous trips have stuck to the Bintang. However on our last trip in April we met up with some friends and they only drank wine, so we gave the Hattens Rose a bash. Well it was quite drinkable and was very refreshing in the hot climate. We developed a bit of a taste for it. Our record for one night was 10 bottles. We had a party at the Villa we were staying at and whilst shopping at Bintang discovered the Hattens Rose in a 2 Ltr Cask, which worked out a much cheaper price than the bottle price.
So as a refreshing quaffer when your a bit bloated on the beer give it a go
