Hi all,

I know that these items sometimes get labelled as 'old wives tales' in their effectiveness. However having got quite sick last time whilst in Bali - my advice to me - stay away from prawns! - I'm really interested in using these products or something this year.

Whether they work or not who really knows but getting sick really does put a dampner on your well earned holiday.

I've just had a look at the ingrdients for Inner Health+

Active Ingredient Amount
Bifidobacterium Lactis 12.5 billion
Colostrum 67 MG
Lactobacillus plantarum 12.5 billion
Sodium Isostearoyl Lactylate N/A

Yakult contains the following
Sugar (sucrose)
•> Skim milk powder
•> Glucose
•> Natural flavours
•> Live Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain
•> Water added
•> No artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or additives

Travelan contains
Bovine Colostrum Powder

Now Yukult is readily and cheaply available in Bali and contains a diff strain of good bacteria to the Inner Health - so these two sound like good products.

Travelan has the colostrum as does the Innerhealth....

Raspberry juice has been used and still is used by pig farmers to help stop piglets getting sick.

Not sure what ingredients are in the products that we give to calves when they get sick but there is always colostrum in the freezer to give to them.

Hmmm, long winded post.... but I think I'll use a combination of the above items.... never leave my lounge room and then I'll be safe ;)

LOL
