Congratulation's on your upcoming wedding, will it be in Bali? or is Bali your honeymoon?
We took cash $1,000 and then withdrew from ATM recommended by the hotel. We are with Saving's and Loan's and were charged $4 per transaction fee - not even sure what exchange rate we ended up with.
I think traveller's cheque's are "the way to go" in my humble opinion.Also you seem to be happier with that arrangement, so go with you gut feeling.
