and we loved it. We stayed in one of their deluxe rooms, which are located right at the back of the property overlooking greenery - it was fabulous. It's in a really good location on Monkey Forest Rd, so you are within walking distance of the Monkey Forest, Ubud markets and lots of galleries/museums. Re places to eat, you are really spoilt for choice in Ubud. Some of my favourites include Batan Waru, Tutmak, Three Monkeys, Lamak, Terazo, Barandi, Indus, Casa Luna and Murni's. Have a look at the Bali Eats website for other ideas and reviews (www.balieats.com)on great eating places. Regarding artifacts, the Ubud markets are good and I'm sure other people can make some great recommendations on places to visit that are all just outside Ubud for other great artifacts shopping (e.g. Sukawati markets, Batubulan, Mas, etc). You'll love it and I'm sure you'll enjoy the hotel too! Happy travelling.
