Hi, we (2 girls and 4 boys aged 18-22) stayed at the Barong in May and loved it....everything is literally at your doorstep...markets, returants, pubs, transport etc etc....we were a bit worried about the hotel after some people reports, but trust me you'll love it....the rooms arent anything flash but they have the necessities (bed, shower etc) and really you dont spend that much time in the room anyways. the Pool areas are great...our rooms were around thr front pool and we never had any noise issues...the front pool is smaller and has a pool bar open till 10 and the back pool bar is 24 hours and the pool itself is quite abit larger!....the atmosphere is great and the staff are fantastic...breaky came included with our package and was ok, but for $2.00 you could walk 10 metres down the road and order what you wanted off the menu which is what we did most days!...room service etc all reasonably priced...there are heaps of options of things to do as everyone is offering you transport as soon as you walk out the door...but i recommend you use anyone at the Bali Bagus pub for water sports etc, we found they had the best price...food too!....there are also Circle K stores down the road. Well as you can see i loved this hotel and would reccomend it to anyone...please dont hesitate to ask if you want anymore info!
