Hi
It looks like your question has been answered by the other poster but I've just got to add this bit. Most drivers will never have heard of these seats. Seat belts in general only came into law in the last three months and it's quite commmon to see a family of 4 including baby being held on one scooter. We chose to just hang onto our kids but I did suggest to our driver that it could be a good business move to look into getting one. It would need to be imported though. I've been helping him with his business generally and have developed a website for him at http://www.arjunachariots.com. His rates are 300,000 Rupiah per day.
If you know anyone that has a second hand one or if you have one yourself one option would be to take it with you and trade it for driving with Putu. If you add up the extra 150,000 Rupiah and $5US for a few days then you could be in front. You get the added benefit of being a major contributor to someones business prospects also.
Cheers
