Just got back, we ate at Poppies twice, the first time was at lunch - nice meal and the service was fine. Went back for dinner on our last full night in Bali, the place was pretty full and the service was still fine though it was extremely hot in there). I ordered Ikan Pepes which has always been my favourite meal there, it was horrible - very dry and didn't look the best. I should have trusted my instincts on the meal as at 4am the next morning I paid for it, come midday we had to get the doctor in because we were flying out that night - what a pure waste of a last day, got to see a few movies though.
Anyway, I can only put it down to what I ate at Poppies and I can say that I won't be too keen to back on return visits, which is a shame as I loved the place.
