After nearly booking my Honeymoon in Fiji, I came accrossed this site. What really drew me away from Fiji wasn't soo much what was said about Bali, but the conviction and love everyone on here has for the place.
My new wife and I got in from Bangkok about an hour and a half from sunset. We checked into our hotel and quick went out into the ocean to watch the sunset. Well, that's when we darn near drowned. After being pummeled by the serf and the rips a nice fisherman pulled us out. He got my new wife breathing again, proped us both up, and left once help came. We spent the next three day's between the BIMC and in bed recovering.
Just when I thought I had goffed the honeymoon, something wonderfull happened. We left the resort.
Bali is just soo layed back. Totally different from were I come from (U.S.) Everyone was soo nice, and polite. We just fell in love with the place. We actually leave tommorrow (2nd) for our one year aniversary. Thank you soo much to all the people on here for your great help. We really love the place, and never would have found it if it wasn't for you.
