Melia hotel is a very nice 4 star hotel with an excellent pool and beach frontage. Beach is tidal but you swim in the pool when tide is out. I preferred an upper floor room with balcony, so that the door can be left open when you want. Only problem with the Nusa Dua area at present is that the Galleria, where you could eat and shop less expensively than in the hotel is closed. This will probably mean taking taxi to Kuta/Legian as necessary. About a 20 minute trip and approx. 40,000 rupiah each way.
