Yeah I think your best bet is to not let your luggage go over the limit. If you are travelling in a group or as a family they will often weigh all the bags togetether which allows the weight to be distributed evenly around the group. This is what my sister did a couple of months ago with her freinds as a few of them had gone over the limit. My husband and I also do it this way each time we fly both out of Perth and out of Bali.
