June is the start of the Busy season for Bali and runs on untill November.
Since the Bali B... Kuta is still busy with Australian tourists
but the Europeans havn't returned in the numbers that they visited before hand.
Having said that, if you are on the streets of Kuta you will notice a lot more people and it will seem busy but go out of Kuta to other areas and it will seem quieter. On the school holidays you do get more families about.
These are my observations for the period that you are talking about as I travel to Bali at this time of the year and have done so for the last 14 years. Also a mate who runs a restaurant in Kuta
looks at these months to make up for the quiter months of the year.
ie; March, April, May, Mid November to late Dec. than busy again Dec. till end of Feb.
