We tend to stay in villas, rather than hotels and there are many in Seminyak area.
We have stayed at Villa 8 (US110 per night) and it was clean and own plunge pool and walking distance to restaurants along Jalan Oberoi.
Next trip are booked into the Dusun, which looks lovely. Got it in a package deal with AA, but normally costs $US240 per night.
