usually they have the serial numbers on the disk. If it is a computer game use explorer to have a look at the files on the disk. You will often find a file called sn or serial and it will open in notebook. write down the number and enter it when requested. If you don't have any success with that send me a list of the games and I will see them and ask. I go over in ..... 6 more sleeps... just for a week. Hope this helps. As mentioned all the XBox etc need the chip to be fitted to work but as you said PC I think you mean conputer games.
