guys out the front of the bank at Kuta Square. That was because they would not take "Terima Kasih and a shake of the head" as an answer. Whenever I have said Tidak I have always been polite about it and smiled when I said it and then just kept walking. Sometimes it is very hard to stay polite when there are alot of people crowding you.
Another thing we tried was "laki laki melompat" which means "two boys jumping". Then we laugh and they look at you like you are mad and start laughing with you. It became a bit of a joke with them when we walked past them each day because they remembered us.
They really do understand "No Thank You".
