THe Lokha Hotel is just wonderful. Lots of local tourists from Jakarta - we are the only westerners that I have seen, but the manager said he hopes that will change when Travel Agents start selling the hotel in Australia - I am sure it will change!
Must say I'd love to keep this little find quiet as we are enjoying not fighting off pool lounges etc but it really is such a nice hotel.
We have a room that has two queensize beds in it with plenty of room to move about and plenty of cupboard and drawer space to keep everything out of sight.
The bathrooms are just lovely - so big and with the hotel being new, everything is so fresh and nice.
The staff are very friendly and the manager is a lovely man - very chatty and bending over backwards to cater for your wants and needs.
The Hotel has a nice restaurant that is reasonably priced as far as hotel prices go and the bar is open till 1.00am - also has a swim up bar as well which is open till 8pm,
There are 50 rooms - 3 floors - we are on the 3rd floor - at least the stairs will work off the food we eat in the day - can't resist those satays! and all rooms overlook the pool - great if you have children - I can sit on the veranda and watch my son without actually having to go and sit by the pool with him if need be.
All in all, have to say that we have been to Bali 4 times (as a family) and this hotel is without a doubt our favourite so far. It is big enough to have the facilities we want, but small enough to be intimate. We would definitely come back and stay here.
