I bought my blinds home last month as excess luggage - we just had them wrapped in plastic and bound with tape and they all arrived in one piece.
Yes, they do have a smell an dI quite like it, don't find it offensive.
All blinds fit the windows - we ordered 9 of them, except two were made 1.2m instead of 1.02m. but we can adjust to make them smaller, we are both quite handy, so between my husband and I we will give it a go.
As some were for a bay window, we had not counted on the wooden slats being slightly wider than our measurements, so again, simply cut off the edges, but if you have a normal flat window, you shouldn't have any trouble.
I went for both the black and the natural colour and am so pleased with the results and the cost!
Lestari at AWA is great and we will return back for more in a few months time.
