The shop has exquisite jewellery and some of it isnt so expensive. One of the best purchases I made was for a ruby bracelet which cost me about $380 AUD and the valuation came back at $2,900.
You get an international certificate guaranteeing the authenticity of the the stones, weight and carat of the gold.
The staff are delightful and when I walk in there now they know me and cant do enough for me. No pressure and you can negotiate on the prices.
Am I right that you are also from Adelaide? If memory serves me correctly you are going around the same time as Helen? yes / no
You can never go wrong purchasing gold in bali. A few years ago I bought a gold ring with faux rubies in one of the Denpasar gold shops. It cost me $60 AUD and the valuation was $360. They didnt try to pass the stones off as being rubies either, said they were created stones. Have a fantastic trip when you go. cheers, jill
