My Daughter In Law was able to get a $130.00 per head (for 4 people)discount for paying for her trip in advance, but, because she didn't have the available cash to pay the full total of the trip, for 2 adults and 2 kids, the travel agent just let her pay the airfare part of the package(the discount was available for early payment of the airfares)therefore allowing her to get the benefit of the early repayment.
She has to pay the hotel accomm part of the holiday, 4 weeks before departure. Soooo, I can't see why you couldn't do as you propose, as the fuel levy isn't on your accommodation part of your holiday but is on the air fare section. The travel agent was San Michele. I might add though, this was done as a favour because of the fact the we are preferentil clients LOL. Cheers Tinggading
