for Gameboy games is Matahari in Kuta or Denpasar,Ramayana in Denpasar or the Game shop in Melasti St.This shop is about 1/2 way between the beach & Jalan Legian & is directly opposite the markets.
Maybe ask your brother if there are any particular games he is after or at least find out which sort he likes the best - sports,car racing,wrestling etc.You should be able to find a good selection at better prices than home.
