I've always done the right thing re luggage limits etc and used to get really cheesed at people who blantantly broke the rules. I'm not a shopper, so could not understand why people did not check it in instead. After reading this forum for a few months I've become more sympathetic to the shoppers cause. However, one request, for EVERYONE'S safety. PLEASE stow your heavy hand luggage under the seat in front of you. Otherwise its just a matter of time before someone gets hurt with rogue overhead hand luggage.
Also if you take liquids in you hand luggage, they would be better at your feet as well - nearly had a painting destroyed by someones bottle leaking - NOT HAPPY JAN!
