We stayed at the Padma in February and were booked into a superior room, when we looked at the room we immediately requested upgrade to deluxe chalet. We requested to view our superior room prior to accepting it, it was on the 3rd level right at the back (near tennis court)room smelt musty and was a long way from pool/restaurant. We loved our deluxe chalet room and thought the upgrade well worth it. Going again on the 16/5 and have requested a deluxe chalet as part of our package. I suggest you request to look at your room before you decide on an upgrade, you may be happy with it first up.
Breakfast at the Padma is great, you don't need to eat again until evening dinner. On offer is: selection of juices, cereals, yoghurts, fruits (dried & fresh),hot selection changes daily but maybe sausages, eggs, bacon, Japanese selection, baked beans, ommlets, selection of breads & danish, cheeses, salads, tea & coffee, the list goes on and all tastes are catered for. Enjoy your stay you should love the Padma and the pool is great with plenty of pool chairs. R
