there on our trip last December.A family we are good friends with lives a short distance away from the hotel & they drove us down there to have a look at the place.The locals consider it was built on very sacred ground.
I did not look at any of the rooms but I have 8 photos of the grounds,restaurant & entry.I have had a lot of problems when trying to send photos recently but could see if it is sorted out yet if you are interested.
There is certainly the Wow factor but it does cost Mega Dollars to stay there.If your budget can stretch that far I'd say go for it. The hotel which opened in 1995 is set high up on the hill & looks down into the valley of the River Oos close to where it mets the Tjampuhan River & where a 900 year old Hindu temple of Gunung Lebah stands.The Royal family has very close ties to this hotel & area.
