for when you step of the plane that the airport is not like an Australian one and the streets aren't what you have just left. My first visit was Oh no - what have we done. After locking ourselves away for a couple of days in the hotel we bravely ventured out. It was only then that I realised that the people were lovely and that I had missed a couple of days of my holidays with fear. The Balianese are lovely people and once you start visiting it is really hard to stop. Enjoy!!
